Now the 'Map Text' dialog will appear and all locations with text will be highlighted in yellow.

To edit existing text, right click within the yellow highlighted location that you wish to edit. In this case we have right clicked within the 'Sumy' location. Now the Map Text dialog will display all of the text properties of that location.

After making changes in the Map Text dialog, left click in the yellow highlighted location where you want the changes to take place. For this example, we have changed 'Sumy' to all capital letters, and changed its' vertical orientation so that the text is located more in the center of the hex.

If you don't like the change, hitting 'Ctrl + Z' before any other action will 'undo'.

There is no need to 'close' the Map Text dialog, you may continue with other work and it may disappear, but it will float around unseen until needed again.

I wanted to delete some text and I forgot how, lol. So I thought it would be a good idea to add it to this thread.

Click on the Edit Text Layer button [Red circle], then click on the Blue circled box, now Left Click on the text that you want to remove.

Is there a way to make global changes to the map text, or does each place name have to be changed individually ?

I'm afraid not, the easiest is to right click on one, change it, left click to implement, and then carry on to the next.

It's difficult to get one text style that fits all the weather zones anyway. It was fun the first time I did it one by one, but I'm looking at doing it again and I think this time it won't be so much fun ! So I just wanted to check to see if there was a designer trick somewhere. Thanks !
