Strategic Command Manual

I thought I was ordering the manual with the intention of thumbing through it before I bought the download for the game. However, after I received the receipt for the purchase, it wasn't clear that I bought the correct thing.

I sent an email to support at slitherine which I received a follow up a bit later informing me that I didn't buy what I thought I had bought. I replied asking for clarification and stating that I just wanted the manual but have not heard anything back. Matter of fact, I've sent 3 emails asking for clarification. Since then, the product has shipped.

I just want to confirm that at the very least the manual is shipping. Can someone help me with that?

You gonna get the manual and no box. But the game DVD is in a sleave inside first page. Thats what I got but I did the oposit. I bought the download version first and then upgraded to physical version with the full colored manual. It was just the manual with a copy of my game on a cd-rom but no new key.

Nope, you already bought the DL. You should have an email giving you the serial number/activation code for the DL.

You can buy another DL if you wish.[;)]

Now get busy downloading the game and you'll be playing in about 30 minutes.[8D]

I'm not sure why I'm so confused by ordering just a manual.

Regarding the order, yes you've ordered the manual but you've only ordered the manual. The Physical Upgrade option does not include a serial number for you to install the game so you have not also bought a copy of the game, you have only bought the standalone manual for the game. If you now also want a copy of the game then you need to purchase a download edition separately."

Is there a means of downloading a .pdf of the manual only?

If not, does a .pdf version of the manual get downloaded with the purchase of the game?
