Bombur mod game 2?

Post by Twotribes »

Anyone wanna start another Bombur mod game? I would say start this one in 1934 rather then 33.

I´m willing to play, and also I offer my new (experimental) 1.26 version for this game. It changes the effects of climate on air combat, now, aircraft can fly in bad weather, but with decreased effectiveness (-60% in mud and -30% in snow)

If we want effective air battles I suggest the game start later maybe 1937 or 38?

TwoTribes, you can choose the settings, the need to playtest the new air combat is not a priority.

A three player game? Maybe we could have a 2 vs 2 game where one player controls two regimes?
I feel three player games are inherently unbalanced. What do you think?

Count me in any nationality except Hobbits.

I am playing a game called the Seven Years War (1753-1763) that is taking most of my gaming time but GD1938 has slacked off and looks like its getting slacker so I have some spare gaming time.
Are we like late Rome, infatuated with past glories, ruled by a complacent, greedy elite, and hopelessly powerless to respond to changing conditions?

I would like Germany this time.

I played that game a bit, Duke. It's ok. I am fine for another GD 1938 game. I am very unhappy with Game 27. A particular player is taking 4-6 days per turn...pretty long, if you ask me.

What did you do? Quit a game? Go slow? Get in a verbal altercation with someone?

I was about to make the same question.
We already have 4 players.
And don´t worry with GD1938, the weather effects are going to be adjusted.

Well, game 27 shouldn't be an issue, we are all playing...but people are just moving so slow, it's ridiculous.

We are 4:
Me, you, lordlau1 and ironduke 1955

You choose the map setup, I suggest a 2 vs 2 game.

Ok forgot to look at start year so I guess we will all be surprised. Germany, Italy, Russia and France. All areas that are on islands start with either a city on the ocean or a port. I suggest due to map layout that Russia France be allied and Germany Italy be allied.

As usual I prefer Germany but will settle for another Country if I must ) Big map normal world pangeatic land mass.

Russia is on a couple Islands and the mainland surrounded by France.
