Game stuck on processing turns

Hello, i've been enjoying War in the West for a long time now but recently when i've tried to play the game it often gets stuck in an infinite loop when trying to process the ai's ground turn. What happens is that the game goes in to a loop were it focuses on the numbers (the lower numbers on the unit cards) of some of my units forever and ever. It's quite tricky to explain but the game wont move forward after it has started this.

Basically the combat value and move value of some of my units are "highlighted" and then they switch to another unit and so forth....

Any idea on what to do?

Edit: Updated to the Beta patch and things seem to be more stable now, still a weird problem.
