Scenario Question About Eastern Front Option

I have a scenario I worked on.

I've taken a campaign scenario and I've changed it from Campaign to a Short Scenario and given it a date range of 3 Jul 1943 through 22 Dec 1945.

My question is: When I play this against an Axis AI will I be able to select the East Front option for the AI and will it be used in the game?

EFB is available only in campaign mode.
