2nd Civil War Mod

Post by GaryChildress »

Just started a campaign in the Civil War 2 mod. So far I'm really loving the setup. Production is spread out but considerably ramped down so keeping my forces supplied and manned is going to be a worthy challenge.

One bug to report so far. At the beginning of the 2nd turn the message popped up on my pre-turn briefing screen that the CSA (which I'm playing) declared war on the USA and then on the 3rd turn it said I declared war on Texas. However, when I open up the diplomacy screen it still shows I'm at peace with those regimes. Also my forces are unable to cross the border, indicating that war has not been declared yet. So I'm not sure where the message is coming from.

Other than that, everything seems to be running smooth. Having a lot of fun with it.

Below is a screenshot of what I hope will be my impenetrable Mason/Dixon line. My strategy thus far is to wait for someone to declare war on me. While I build up my forces.

I expected it to be buggy. But your bug I have not run across before. Did you by any chance choose the NON-sandbox version? Cause that could explain it. Did you by any chance change something else, other than the colors of the counters?

I remember now I changed the order of the regimes, moved CSA to the top of the order so that playing them I wouldn't wait for the other regimes to go first. Maybe that messed up the code or something? Perhaps events are tied to the order of regimes? Whoops. [:o]
