Thank you, but they just changed the wording on the game screen to sound like it was working, oh well. I will wait.

Hi Hubert, did not try any of the downloads from your link, I tried it from the game screen because they changed the wording on it and made it sound like you could download from the game screen, my bad, I will wait til that one works.

Yeah I got it. Now, I could be wrong, but I don`t think they wanna make a beta patch available through the game screen, so either you wait to the official patch to be released, or you could install it from the links that we were talking about. Is not gonna make a difference in the way that the game functions.


EDIT: OOPS Sorry all, now I realize that the official patch is out... thought we were still talking about the beta. Forget all what I just said [:D]

It's usually antivirus that blocks the patch. I have to do all of mine manually. Can't seem to figure out what I need to do to get McAfee to allow the updater to work properly.

edit: Direct link to FTP server worked fine. Installed.

I know the direct download works from the members section, can't someone from Matrix verify that it does not work from the game screen, is that a tough question? And when will that be fixed?

Hi demjansk, where did you download it from, members section or the game screen section. Look not trying to make a big deal of this, can this fix be downloaded from the game screen yes or no.

BO !! I don't work for Matrix but I can verify that it does not work from the game screen. Nobody ever said it did. Ben's DL instructions were clear and work fine. Give it a rest !! [;)]

Well why doesn't it work from the menu screen? They put that button in there, and then don't make use of it. I would think they would have that ready before releasing the patch.

I downloaded the patch from the members area on Friday afternoon. I hope this helps. Thanks

It takes a minute or so to log in, but I always go the Members only link. I just don't trust a download from any game menu, not just this one. Going that route has given me problems in the past, and I like to run the exe myself.
