"can't find 7412.dat"

I am in a game with ironclad, both of are updated to 1.01.04 and were before we started this game. This morning I got the message "can't find 7412.dat" which I think means that the particular game file is not accessible to me. Anyone know why this happened?

As a follow-up, after re-trying repeatedly, it suddenly worked and the game played normally.

Server-based applications...robust but often forcing you into the insane behavior of repeated trying the same thing, because eventually it may work.

Ah well, as well that ends well.

Same problem, nearly, for me, though it was the file 65249.dat in my case. Sadly after restarting the game and trying ten times it's still not working.
