PBEM and More Than One Install

Post by canuckgamer »

I see that Strategic Command II now can be played by pbem which is what I was waiting for. I spend 3 months each winter down in Arizona and install a game or games on my laptop for pbem while there. My question is, can I have SC II installed on my desktop at home and my laptop at the same time or would I first have to uninstall it from my desktop.

Also for those of you who have tried pbem in this game is it the "usual" where you can view a replay of your opponent's move, then make your move, save it and send a file by e-mail?

Thank you in advance for any comments or replies.

It can be installed on two computers just fine without a problem. If you have three computers, that would be fine too - it's your copy, install it and play it wherever you like.

The only limitation is that we expect as it's your copy that you won't be playing it on more than one of those at the same time and you can't play PBEM across those two computers at the same time with just one copy (but if you had a different copy on each it would work fine).

Yes, you can see the full replay, then do your turn and it automatically uploads it for your opponent.
