Updated WITP AE edition for Win 10?

Any chance that this game will be properly updated for Win 10 64 bit systems so that I won't have to use the switches and other workarounds that was meant for Win 7?

I'm still having issues running this game in Win 10 64 bit.

The game is not being updated for Windows 10. When you make the switch, the game will run well, but you may need to change some of the switches and experiment a little bit with what works best on your new machine/operating system.

Oh well I was hoping there might be some incentive to get at least an official update patch for Win 10.

I don't know why I still have screen issues is still stuck in small view when I use 1920 x 1080.

Oh well.

I have found the forum (post in the technical help subsection) to be an outstanding source of knowledge for Win10 workarounds and switch troubleshooting. I strongly recommend you seek counsel there.

THanks I found the switch combo that finally worked:

Here is my Win 10 configuration switch.

-f -px1920 -py1080 -cpu2 -multiaudio -deepColor

I was missing -deepColor. I guess my Radeon R900 didn't like it without it [:)]

As this game has a massive following probably the best following of any game of that age i think that it is letting down the loyal people that have it not to do a bit of an update so it can work on win10
I myself cant seem to find a happy medium regarding the switches and have given up on this wonderful game
An update will reawaken this to new people
New people cannot but notice a game that has been around for such a long time is still getting messages in the forum everyday which is in itself is astounding
Just think of all the younger people who would love this but only have win10

My guess is that the vast majority of Win10 users will be able to find some sort of workaround if they are so inclined. I'm not particularly tech savvy, but I was able to (with some help) find a switch series that worked for me. Many others have posted similar success.

+1 what this guy said. Post it in the technical help forum where people will see it and be able to offer assistance. Tech help posts put in the general forum are less likely to garner help.
