Air stats

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Air stats

The Editor has stats on all air units, as well as graphs of performance at various alts. Has anyone put that material in a spreadsheet for reference?

I'm finding optimizing air missions the game's greatest puzzle. How many strikes to order to, for example, maximize interdiction without hopelessly wearing out my forces. Which frames perform best for which missions at which alts. Data to help sort this out would be helpful.

rjs28023 did one showing best altitude for max speed which is a key factor. If you want to do one a CSV export of the aircraft file will have all the information in the rightish format as a starter.
