Movement and Mouse clicks

Post by demyansk »

I bought the game today and it looks nice. I was wondering if I am missing something. Do you have to click on the text of each unit and then move the units one hex at a time? Then, if you press the control key and group the units the same thing?

Lots of mouse clicks and I really don't like this, it seems that this part is not the greatest.

This is correct.

It gets worse. If your units are shot are in defensive fire phase they are deselected and you have to select them again to move them after the firing.

Improvements? Double-click could select all units for example.

Agree, I did read about the mouse clicks but a double click would be perfect. Man, this could get tiring.

Any chance it will become more streamlined?

The game mechanics works this way. The opponent, most often the AI has the chance to react to your movement in every hex you move to. There is a nice little free program that can help you use only one click to ctrl click. Check out this link for X-Mouse
