Had sad news today

My ex wife (we were still married actually) died this morning age 52 due to liver damage. Had to tell my daughter (16) this morning who is just about to start her exams. Couldn't have happened at a worse time..if there ever is a worse time for this sort of thing.

I'm beating myself up here thinking about the last time she phoned me and I didn't return her call and for not going to the hospital last week to say goodbye as I didn't think it was this serious.

So please, all the people you care about never leave things unsaid to them or on unfriendly terms..as you never know if you'll get the chance to fix things later. Sort things out there and then if at all possible. Plus never leave a call unreturned..agaian you neve rknow what's around the corner.

My mom died in 2013 and she lived next door to us. Shortly before she died, she said to me "Larry, please stay a while longer, I love being with you." I left because I had chores to do, and ever since, I have felt bad about that day. I could have done those chores any time. [:(]
