Click on any hex, then move the mouse to a base, TF or LCU; at the bottom you will see the range between the 2... I don't know if this was undocumented or unheard, but it took me more than a year to figure out [:D]

That kind of 'discovery' happens all the time to me Jorge! Usually takes 2-3 times as long though...

I believe that this is distance "as the crow flies" and not a shipping/land route.

When you open up an information window by clicking on a TF or base, it often covers the area you need to look at to decide what you are going to do.
You can't move the info box (although I have requested that) but if you move the mouse to one of the window edges the map will begin to scroll (slowly, in jerky movement) and will eventually uncover the area you wish to see.

...or click the mini map to move it without scrolling. On my machine the mini map might not be visible to start with but if you move as if scrolling it does.

I wish the next improvement will display the hex grid number when the cursor is on it and save the player from clicking on the hex. This useful when checking sighting reported in the operation report.

Maybe well known but as a rookie helped me just recently - immediately.

When reviewing "withdrawing ships in next 90 days" from the "Ships summary" button while in Map (i.e. not intelligence report)

1) Lists ship
2) Lists which Task Force its in
3) Provides "current orders" like "Move to Perth"

Click on "Move to Perth" and Map will center on that Task Force.

A People that values its privileges above it's principles will soon loose both. Dwight D Eisenhower.

This has irritated me consistently since I first got the game. I wish the info window were displayed in a corner of the screen instead of center.

Many other "Easter eggs" thruout the game by way of names in the OOB's.
The original devs, plankowners real names, and a few Hollywood names are included.
Watch for "Rockwell Torre"(John Wayne -In Harms' Way) and "Quentin McHale" - (McHale's Navy)just to name a couple...

There are quite a few Grigsby's as well as Matrix employees in the pilots names.
Many real pilots are represented as well such as Boyington, Foss, Waldron, Thatch, Bauer, etc...

Don't know how well know this is but,

When left clicking through a choice of options, if you right click you will scroll backwards through the list.

i.e. "Set the operations mode" and "Set the combat mode" ...etc
