Transfer save to new computer

I've been playing on an old computer which apparently suffered some fatal damage yesterday. My son says it will boot only in safe mode, so we can access the files but we can't really do anything on it anymore. RIP. We are blessed with a much newer computer and I will install the game on that tonight. In order to resume my game, naturally I have to transfer the latest save, which I will. My question is if there are any other data files I need to transfer as well, in order for a seamless transition.

I would just copy the whole AE folder tree. Do an install, but then write over it with the copy from the old machine.

BTW, visit grc.com to look at the SpinRite product (https://www.grc.com/sr/spinrite.htm). IIRC it is $89 (also good for the next version released) and it many times will save a drive that is deteriorating.
