Submarine radiating in Scenario 7 Okinawa Bound

Submarine radiating in Scenario 7 Okinawa Bound

I am having a blast on Chain of War so far. Working on scenario 7 Okinawa Bound and noticed this. Once I took out the last Japanese AEW E-767, two Japanese submarines North of Okinawa starts to turn on their radar, that is akin to suicide for subs. Is it be design?
