How do you guys capture Cairo so fast?

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

How do you guys capture Cairo so fast?

I'm still learning this game and am getting competent at most aspects as Axis but it seems I'm still having trouble in North Africa. Every turn is a slug match with me eliminating 1-2 Allied units and stepping forward 1 hex. I'm just now at the gates of Cairo and it is March'42. But I've read AARs where Cairo is gone by September of '41. With the lack of supply and coastal cities having to recover strength before proceeding I don't see how to do it faster.

in brief, supply, take Malta (see other threads) and get 2 It leaders there, and the tank and any other units you can.

OK thanks - I already learned to take Malta and I have HQs there w/DAK. Guess I'll need to check out some AARs...
