Cant update from version 1.00

Hi my copy on my desktop ceased to work so i uninstalled it from my hard drive, I have my original uploader in my downloads so re installed the game on my hard drive version 1.00 then check for updates and tells me version 1.08 is available i then dowload that and run it but it does not seem to want to install ?? can i update from version 1.00 to version 1.08 ??

yes, all updates are comprehensive

try installing as admin, as a firewall or your AV maybe stopping the process from running,

if that doesn't work, uninstall the game and install to a non default location, C: Games/ etc

Thanks for reply zakblood it worked on the third attempt, Have played a PBEM turn and all is working as it should.
