Is it possible to have more than one line of chat? This is a very engadging multiplayer game, I would would really like to say more to opponents that what is allowed. I would think it would be easy to allow longer chats, hopefully there is a way that I have not found.

Not at the moment but it is something I'd definitely like to expand for the same reasons described.
