crashes every time

I'm just wondering if this was another waste of money. Will it be a constant frustrating battle to get this
thing to work without crashing?

It seems to work on my new Predator laptop but on my gaming desktop it locks up on the initial loading of the AD screen.
If I click on any button on the screen it freezes. This is a lot of fun.

I'm trying to play in the windowed mode so that I can refer to any of the thousands of rules necessary to
get started.

If this game is inherently buggy I wish I'd known that before purchasing.

After I wrote the initial post I thought I'd try it in full screen mode. Not only did it lock up the game
it locked up my PC.

My desktop is an ASUS ROG using NVIDA GTX 970 with latest drivers. Laptop is NVIDIA GTX 1070

Both running Windows 10 and so far I have avoided the latest crap that MS is putting out with creative updates.

Try the following:
Open the game installation folder, find a subfolder named "Dat" and open it. Inside this folder you'll find a subfolder named "sounds"; rename it as "_sounds".
Run the game and check if the issue persists.
