Powerful Italian Navy

[&:](Single Player Game) Whenever I send the French fleet into/near the Adriatic Sea, or at the heel of the Italian boot,
the Italian Navy seems to have abnormal range. Such as Light Cruisers having a range of 2-3, and last Sunday,
Italian Battleships had a range of 8.

I have only seen this I have only seen this in the Adriatic Sea.

I have read the forums and other people are having the same problem. I thought this was fixed.

What version are you playing?

My understanding is that this was supposed to have been fixed with v1.09.01 Beta.

According to the Change History: "fixed an AI naval combat error that had some naval units strike targets beyond their normal strike range."

If you are playing v1.09.01 Beta, then perhaps not all the naval units that were doing this were fixed...

Thanks for the report and to confirm, this was a general error introduced related to rule change we implemented regarding being able to pass through enemy units. Due to those changes, on rare occasions the AI was not properly looking at the correct final position of its movement path and it was attacking from an incorrect hex when it thought it was properly adjacent and in range the your units. Essentially this was not specific to any naval unit type or country so hopefully this has been properly addressed outright.

If not and if this is indeed v1.09.01 Beta please let me know and we can go from there.
