Tutorial help

Hello!
I just purchased MWiF and want to get off and running. As I have never played the game getting started is going to be challenging. I have been going over the tutorials, and have hit a wall. The third set of tutorials and arguably the Most Valuable, actually walking you through the game. Sounds great right, or at least I thought so. However, they are coded, adding a mind numbing layer of complexity to something that quite simply should be spelled out. Why after so much time and effort in creating three sets of tutorial would the last be written in such a way? Isn’t there a war gamer magazine article describing this a while back and asking for help and/or revision?

Maybe I’m stuck but with what we have. But please tell me someone has typed this out as a PDF file in plain English. A simple bullet point format using words not code? It will save me and I would be eternally grateful!

Thanks for any assistance as I struggle up this mountain. I’ve heard the view is pretty good from up there!

Not sure what you are referring to as "coded". There are picture and text tutorials, interactive tutorials and video tutorials.

The video tutorials are accessed from the initial autorun splash screen, not the MWiF splash screen.

For PDF resources, the game comes with 2 Players Manuals and the "Rules as Coded" which are the original boardgame rules but modified to show any differences that exist in the MWiF program. These are in the sub-folder "Manuals".

What he means by coded is that instructions in the tutorials are in a very oompressed format, that can be regarded as a form of code.

Forgive me, let me be more clear, code isn't the correct word for me to have used. The section specifically is the Interactive Tutorials section.
For example:
Strategic Bombing: Fly to Target (Page 2 of 9)
• MM Harwich (England); LC LND Hampden (Flyout)
• LC LND Wellington (Flyout); MM Dusseldorf (Germany)
• EX Prompt (MF); LC; MM LND Stirling (Selectable Units); LC
• MM Dusseldorf; EX Mouse Cursor; LC; MM Dusseldorf; EX Flyout
• EX Unit Data Panel (Main Form)
• LC End Phase (Main Form); LC End Phase (Main Form)

What I was thinking may not exist. But, if there were a more colloquial English PDF or doc file out in the community for this section I would be happy to use it. If not I can make it work.

Well, I've never gone through the interactive ones (as i know the game well) but a very quick glance allows me to guess:
MM = move mouse
LC = left click (and if we come across RC then we'd know that one too, unless it's on a form asking for one's religion)

EX = ummmm, maybe examine?

I would guess these were defined at the beginning of the interactive tutorials?

This was the reason why I left the interactive tutorials. It seems then it was a test for my imagination as well. As the OP I thought there was something wrong with the tutorial. After all the work in the video tutorials, ant the text tutorials I never thought there was not enough time to pass a MSword corrector to convert "EX" in "examine" and "LC" in "left click"...

Each page of instructions in the Interactive Tutorials contains a set of buttons at the bottom that let you navigate forward and backwards, etc. in the tutorial. One of those buttons is Abb? which brings up a page describing the abbreviations.
