[RESOLVED] CMANO Crashing after latest update. (not a Steam Version)

Hey~
I picked up CMANO a few weeks ago and all has been running fine, (GREAT sim by the way) until the other nite I upgraded to the latest patch (Ver 1.13/Build 972.11) and now the game continues to crash after about 5 – 10 minutes in.
I’m running this on two different notebooks (work and home) and both are showing the same symptom. One is Win 7 the other a Win 10. Both the same versions of CMANO
After the patch, I did NOT reinstall the DB files from the Warfare site. Should I?

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

I’ve added the error log from the Win 10 machine below if it helps.

I realized I should have mentioned. I’m playing the Blue Dawn Scenario (which I bought first as a standalone) thru CMANO GOTY. CoW is still installed.
Both machines are x64.

The typical first culprit to check is not running DirectX, etc. during upgrade. The next issue is making sure its all installed to the right directory. I have seen a number of people with two installs not getting it into the directory they are running command from.

After that, I'm out.

If I understand it correctly, the crash occurs only when playing the specific scenario, not with any other?

If true, could you please post the pre-crash autosave ?

Did you install the VC 2015 redistribution when it was asked during update?
Based on error sounds like issue interfacing with Lua library. The game requires the VC 2015 for x86 (not the x64 one) - it is in the 'PreRequisites' folder in the game directory (vc_redist.x86.exe)

Thanks to all for the input. I uninstalled CMANO (there was actually two versions showing up in Add Remove Programs 1.12 and 1.13 perhaps that's normal) and reinstalled adding the keys.

Michael, I did not notice the VC install the first time I installed CMANO (I did when installing CoW the first time, and again last nite with the fresh CMANO install) I played for about 45 minutes with no issue, have not updated to 1.13 yet, but will this weekend. I really don't believe it could be the update, way too many players out there that haven't experienced these issues.

Dimitis, if I'm still seeing the issue after a couple of day, I'll kick over that save file.

My suspicion is that the two installs were mixed up on updates and such. Seen it more than a few times and I'm extra careful on install directories now.
