Install Problems

I'm trying to re-install this game from a download version in order to apply the update. However, the installer keeps asking for a disk! Please advise.

login to your account here in support in the member section and re download a later version and see if that helps

as you may have saved a version which is now either too old or the wrong one etc?

worth checking to just see which installer version is out, only takes too seconds, i can't try it as not got the game in the first place, so won't show up for me to check[:(]

Thanks. I've done all that. I deleted my original so I had to d/l the ver 1.00 installer from Members and that's the one giving me problems. I wonder if the new patch replaces the whole game.

did you unzip the file?

as that is the only one i could find on errors for the 1.00 version tbh

i know you said about it asking for a disk etc, but are you sure that's the right error message?

Have seen this before. Don't unzip to the desktop, unzip to a folder and go there and run the install. That should work.

BTW, the updater doesn't work so you have to d/l the update.

downloading most files to the desktop won't work to unpack as unless you give it admin permissions, it won't be able to make a temp folder etc to unpack and install, are you all sorted now with the updates manually downloaded and installed?
