Workshop for the new guys

Post by larryfulkerson »

Who wants a workshop? I think I'll do a workshop. What's the opinion of the readers of this thread
what the subject should be. What time period? What the heck. Lemme know or else I'll choose something
at random.

Certainly!
Not only for new guys but also something new (hopefully) for old time players would be interesting.

The problem with that is we would need an expert to author the thing. I'm no expert, I just tend
to post a lot. I have yet to win a FITE game against a human player. And we played Pacific
At War
a lot during the playtesting of the new scenarios and Thomas Harvey ALWAYS beat me.
Playing either side. But I CAN teach what I know which isn't much. I'm learning all the time.
Take a look at what I have done and tell me if you like it or not. I've done two pages now but it's
posted in the development board before it gets moved here to the public board.

Well I hate to be stupid, but what's a workshop?
When I think of workshops I've been to I think of an AAR
that goes into gritty detail and the readers are
encouraged to ask questions and expect answers. A sort
of bulliten board for users around a specific topic
being moderated by the author of the AAR.

Something like that.
