Splash Menu Screen Update

Matrix and Slitherine have these nifty little "Update" buttons on the menu screens that absolutely break constantly, i.e. 'Windows can't find /update.exe'....and doggone it for once Microsoft is right, the update.exe is missing. Where does it go? Who knows? Now I know I can go to the members center and look for updates, but why have a feature that just taunts? I was able to find the fix for Command, not so for Afghanistan 11, or Sanctus Reach. Could the update.exe be included in further patches? It sure would be nice.

most issues with this is either firewalls and or permissions or server place has been altered or changed, while you can do something for one, agreed you can't do anything for the server end, but always the files are posted on the site and in the members download section just for these reasons, so kind of a double deal kind of back up, hope that helps

Also check if your anti-virus isn't quarantining the files.
