xxx.pws file only downloading once

Strangest thing happening in my e-mail game. All of a sudden my 008.pws file will only download once - after which when another turn arrives it will fail the download forcing a restart of the computer upon which it deigns to download once only again. I would think there was something wrong with my system (Internet Explorer 11 and yes I have to use it!) except that when I download the accompanying 001.pws file there is never any problem.

Anyone come across this before?

I don't get why you have to use IE, but that's beside the point. If you have some IT people setting policies and such on that machine they might have something to do with it. Plus, Microsoft recently put in place an anti-cryptoware measure on Windows 10 that is turned OFF by default. So if you have IT types managing your machine they might have configured something that is obstructing your normal usage and need to "white list" some programs or activities.

Thanks - will check that out: What I have noticed since posting is that after/while the 008.pws file is successfully downloaded there is a very brief 'security check' note which is missing when the 001.pws sails through so there may be merit in your suggestion. As for the IE - a localised Canadian issue which I much regret!
