The new way to present flags

Post by Templer_12 »

More and more often flags are displayed as a circle in current games. I think that's awful.
Flags are rectangular - no, I do not like this new fashion!
Now also in the legendary TOAW.

Objectives are marked with a flag and is not round.

Unit panels show Roundels to indicate side, not a flag. Works for me, I like it.

So I guess objection is not "round flags" but to use rectagular flags on the unit info panels again as in previous versions.

Oh well, it is a matter of taste. I like the new way, you like the old way, etc.

It is what the Mod section is all about. There is already one there that returns the info panels back to TOAWIII flags.

Yes, it is terrible, but these things happen all thru life. However, no one remembers the 1982 Camaro. TOAW shall rise past this and live on to be the 1967 Camaro of Wargames !
