"Play Game" button does not start game

Hi there,

I just bought this game via the Steam sale and when I click on the "Play Game" button it does not start the game. This is on the little splash screen that comes up after clicking "Play" within steam.

Any ideas? Looks like a great game and I'd love to try it.
