How does supply work

I can’t find anything in the manual about SUPPLY except a little in the scenario creation section. I can’t believe there isn’t any description of how supply works but I don’t see it. Regardless, I have a lot of units at 1% supply and I don’t know why

Can any of you point me to a post, video or section in the manual that explains it?

I’ve seen the thread about the new supply feature vs TOAW 3 but it doesn’t really tell me how the supply system works. What do the numbers mean on the supply overlay? What is the difference between a number 6 in a tan circle vs a number 6 in a circle that is half ran and half blue?

I’ve never played TOAW 3 so I’m struggling

Check chapter 9.1.7 in the manual, that's where detailed explanation of supply starts.

Ok. I found it in the manual. It isn’t in the table of contents and I’m using the PDF version on my phone

It's true it's not in the contents list, though. I looked for it too. I have this very same 'issue' - what am I doing wrong when all my units have no supply? I posted just earlier today about it - see the very helpful video linked there:

Again, ya's not doin' anything wrong. I mean... look... I created the supply Tutorial and the pesky AI(!!!)fiddle'd me up.
