Resulution Issue with War In The Pacific AE

Hello guys,

today me and my friend decided to download the old Gary Grigsby title WITP AE.
The problem is: we can't get it to play in an accetable resoltion

I have already looked through the rest of the internet and I know what switches are. I have successfully put my game into windowed mode but for some reason the switch -px# and -py# don't work no matter what I value I put in. Same for my friend. It also opens a small window in the game's standart reso.
Does anyone know what we're doing wrong?
