How do you upload a picture to your post?

I thought I'd put something together for those
of you who don't know how to upload your pictures
to your post yet. Just to answer your question
before you ask it.

Do you by the way know, if there's any way to scale images when you embed them in the post? Screenshots are often HUGE, and it would be nice if they could be scaled down and instead linked to the full image. I tried to look in the doc, but I think the forums software doesn't support this?

Thanks for your kind words. And I've always shrunk the picture before I try to upload it because the software for the
forum doesn't allow any scaling. It would be cool if it did.

Having trouble with uploading a pic and getting it to show - trying to upload a jpg but it does not show in the preview.
jpg is 110 kb.
I click the upload; seems to work. Then the "Embed" box - but nothing happens.
Please what am I missing?

Oh - it works - just does not preview.
