Strange PBEM Problem

Trying the EasternFront 41-45 v3.6 scenario that comes with the game on the PBEM server with a friend. He plays Germans and finished his first turn. I open it and see all the German units (no FoW) and the supply for the Germans, not my side. I can only move some of my units, most units show the red movement arrows, but when I right click on a location nothing happens. Moreover after I moved one of the units I could move it disappeared in the fog of war. tried to kill the game and reload the turn, every time it behaves the same. I am on the newest beta patch.

I also noticed in another game (Sicily) that when I right click on Engineers to repair rails most of the time there is no feedback at all, sometimes I get a sound. When I right click again the repair rail option is not there anymore. How do I know what the engineers are doing?

When you repair rail with your engineers they make an attempt that may fail. When it fails, you get no feedback.
