Air combat form freezing

I am using the version 2.7.5 and in a number of occasions, but not all the time, when there is a an air combat the form and the rest of the game freeze. The button to get the air combat moving on after a result does not show up, and in fact no buttons anywhere work. Have to close the game by ctrl+alt+del.

The game cannot be saved on the air combat form, but here is an example here where it freezes every time an air combat is initiated.

The latest version had this as one of the fixes, I believe:
"41. January 9, 2018 - Moved the insert panel of the Air-to-air Combat form, which requires the player to acknowledge the message about the results of the latest die roll, 20 pixels to the left so if doesn’t get hidden by the primary Air-to-air Combat form."

So there should be a visible edge of the form you need to get at just to the left of the form that seems frozen. If you can click that edge, the form should come to the front and you should be able to continue.
