Where can I find the base Combat Value of a unit?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Where can I find the base Combat Value of a unit?

Post by VonCurry »

I'm trying to see how many units I'd need to prop up Italy in my German vs Ai campaign (Matrix games please make a "what if" Italy didn't surrender scenario).

I'm a bit turned around since there is so many variables etc, where can I find the base combat value of a unit? Thanks as always for the replies guys!

The number on the left of the unit detail screen next to Combat Value is the base (attack) value. It's also the one used on the counter on the left side of the - or =. The only thing is this number can be reduced by bad ground weather in its hex.
