Why Are All My Stirling III's Inactive?

Post by GeneralDad »

I am playing the 43-45 campaign as WA and just realized that all of my Stirling III's are inactive in RAF Bomber Command. At first I thought it was a range thing but I can't even bomb Dunkirk. The aircraft are set to night bombing, they are not resting or training - morale and fatigue are great because they have been just sitting there.

How do I activate them?

Thanks,

I found the answer - I had set the altitude too high. The check boxes at the bottom of the sir group selection screen gave me the answer.

You found what I was going to suggest. The Stirlings are a liability because of their altitude restrictions. I always swap them out to Halifaxes and Lancasters on turn 1.
