I will put this back up and leave it up for a while.
I am not sure this will help, but I realize that I did
it a long time ago and I have carried it over to many game installs.

This is only if you set the in game preference for music volume to 0.

Go to the sound folder of your game and create a temp folder. Move
1024.sfx through 1035.sfx into the temp folder( these are the in game
music files )

Now set your in game preference for music volume to something above 0.

I would like to know if it does indeed help anyone.

RE: another disregard

I'd give it more time, assuming you can/want to recreate the OP. I read it earlier on my tablet and planned to comment when at my desktop.

I thought it was an inventive solution which showed thought outside of the usual paradigm. There's probably a laptop user out there who would benefit from it.

I put it back up, I am not sure where I got it from. I have my own set of playlists that I use outside of the game files.

Another note, that early on some people renamed the SOUND folder to NOSOUND and got much better results. It is another item
to try, not having any sounds might be acceptable if everything else went fine.

This could be a feature of SeaBee at some point... make it an easy toggle switch that could be enabled/disabled just before a game to suit one's preferences that day. The only thing I haven't investigated yet is how the sound volume options are stored for the game, as I would need to have SeaBee be able to manipulate those as well.

That said, I have the entire "install module" to build yet. [:D]
