AI issues on Beda Fomm

Post by headcount_slith »

I've just finished an Axis playthrough in which the Allies seemed half asleep. They did almost nothing except make a half-hearted attempt to take The Pimple with Combe Force. Bengazi and Agedabia were never attacked. Perhaps the victory conditions or AI plans on this scenario need some attention?

depends on what you expected to see tbh?

depending on what results you got?

if you post a AAR maybe would be clearer on what you have seen or achieved etc

to really see what happened, if you have a save, or a screenshot of the last turn etc and score, then the developer can understand what happened and how you got to where you say you are at etc and see what factors maybe have come into play to have made them passive etc?

Something vaguely historical would have been nice! The Allies showed almost no interest in cutting my line of retreat, or harassing/eliminating my forces. I won a decisive victory using just 10 units, which suggests something isn't working as intended.

any saves? or screenshots?

either load one here or

tt.asp?forumid=1682

then it may make it clearer until the developer makes a comment etc

In the pic linked to above (add H T T P S to beginning. I can't post links yet) the red circles indicate where the majority of Allied forces are at the end of the game. They failed to commit the majority of their units.
