AAR graphics

Post by gliz2 »

I know I've seen it posted somewhere here but cannot find the thread.
I'd like to get them nice arrows and stuff used for AAR. Currently I'm using graphic tablet [8|]
So if someone would be so kind to point me in the right direction [:D]

Gliz2,

I used Powerpoint and now Libre Office to set up my screen shots with arrows and such.

I use Paint.Net for most stuff, but for real nice arrows and text I use Photoscape [seen below]. Both fit my graphics budget [free].

I use freeware Irfanview for arrows and text, and freeware paint.net for anything 'fancy.'

The link was really cool. Years ago, I had a military symbols program on my computer. Wish I had it now.

Thanks for sharing,
Mike

Mike are you referring to MILSketch?

Google it and there is also a gem of warfare gaming related to the search :)

Gliz2,

No, it was a set of files that worked with Powerpoint.

I googled MILstetch and it does look very interesting. I will take a deeper look soon.

Thanks,

Mike
