pink shaded hexes - supply problems

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

pink shaded hexes - supply problems

Post by jjdenver »

Hi,

Is there any way to prevent the pink shaded hexes from constantly happening on air units? Having them at 5 (or lower) supply is really frustrating when there are HQs all around them.

Thanks

as you start the game at the first panel there is an advanced button. Click that you will see a radial button pertaining to supply.

Make sure you HQs are on auto mode or you have manually chosen the units you want to command. If it is on auto and it is choosing the wrong units to command then you have to go to manual and detach and attach what you want.

I have to admit that it is damn annoying when an air unit is in a supply level 6 hex (from HQ #2), but can't reinforce because it is too far from its 'owner' HQ. Even switching attachments means you have to wait a turn.

Since the HQ/Air Unit change was made, it has really become imperative to manage attachments manually. Especially in high unit count areas.
