Aircraft production stats oddities - no IdahoNYer pls

Post by LargeSlowTarget »

Hello,

I have compiled a list of my aircraft production for my AAR and noticed some oddities.

1. No A5M nor A6M2 listed, although at least the A6M2 is still in active service (training groups) and in the reinforcement queue

2. odd production figures - number of planes / engines created "this month" (report date Nov 30th) is higher than the monthly production rate (see red frames).

This is particular odd with the Hitachi Amakaze engine (11 produced this month) and the Nakajima Ha-5 engine (43 produced this month) - production rate is "0" because the factories producing these engines have been switched to something else in 1942!

Note, the green frames with production numbers for "0" production rate are ok, I have switched those factories this month.

Is it possible to produce more than the indicated factory capacities ?

Or just a display error / bug?

Or meddling by Mr. Churchill of "I only believe in statistics that I have doctored myself" fame?
