[H2H] (HISB] One of a million forgotten episodes in one of the cruellest wars in all history.
The relentless and savage Japanese advance toward Nanking continues unchecked.
The disorganized Chinese forces are reeling back toward the city.
No systematic, controlled defence exists. Through a densely crowded countryside,
the roads to Nanking converge toward the panicked city but here and there Chinese
units..perhaps well led, maybe bolstered by carefully husbanded elite troops,
or maybe just because there was no other option, try to turn back the tide.
