newbie interdiction

Post by tonyscrase »

I am playing the Italian Scenario
I have 500 bombers (2/3 LB 1/3 FB) interdicting a large area which stretches from the west to east cost. in all about 160 hexes.
on average i seem to get about 2 1 level and 18 nil level interdictions. I believe they would not effect the movement of combat units.
It seems that the supply of front line german troops is not as good as it was 4 weeks ago when i started the interdiction attacks. Is it possible that they are having an effect on the flow of supplies

Yes, they will attack supply columns, but the levels you're talking about probably won't have a huge impact. It's hard to get good interdiction levels over that large an area. Only in Normandy where the Allies have thousands of aircraft can they get very large numbers over a large area.
