Air Groups in the NR not losing fatigue.

Post by xhoel »

Hey all,
I'm currently playing the GC 41-45 in Multiplayer and have noticed that the air groups in the NR are not losing fatigue even though some of them have been sitting there since turn 2 and its now turn 3. What's causing this? Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Just took out a screen save of Axis airgroups from T44 in a game by then updated to v1.11.03 and compared it to T45. All the high fatigue airgroups that had stayed in reserve both turns did lose one point in fatigue in our game.

So what are you saying? That’s not normal is it? I mean an air group that is on R&R for one whole week should be able to recover much more than 1 fatigue point.

no 1 point is very little but my guess is this is a debate about the calibrations of the latest version rather than a bug as would be implied if there was no change?

There is a hard coded base (minimum) fatigue level for air groups on the map (12-15). If units in NR are not decreasing below 12, it's probably related to the hard code.

Also, try returning the groups that have had a few turns to rest in the NR to an active air base to see if you get a drop on the same or following turn. [8|]

Seems a bit strange and illogical though. Units on forward airbases set to rest recover fatigue just fine, yet pilots of air groups that are supposedly in Germany sipping coffee have more or less the same fatigue level they did 2-3 weeks ago. But yeah I'll rotate them, and see how it goes. Thanks!
