Email setup error

Played Barbarossa solitaire on release and have reinstalled today.

Patched with big patch and latest hotfix - I did not install all hotfixes in order, just the latest.

Set up to play Lebenstraum solitaire and get error my email program isn't set up?

Sounds like you got a Madexcept and it's trying to email the bug report. An email program is sought to do so but this is a secondary issue. It is not mandatory to send a bug report, the concern here is why did the program crash.

You mention patches, but you need to do a full install of a version later than 2.3.4 in order to use the most recent hotfix. A hotfix only replaces the EXE, but a full install updates all the files the game needs. You need to go to the Members Club and download the latest full install and run it, and then apply the latest hotfix.

Thanks very much for the response on this. It is now working, but we'll see how it plays. I installed from disk, instead of the big download.

Did you then successfully run the Updater and then apply the latest hotfix? You'll be unhappy with very early program versions as there have been a great deal of bug fixes since then.

Yes. Take a look at the Version number. If it doesn't start with 2, you will not be happy!
