Minor things you find Annoying

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

Minor things you find Annoying

Post by Taxman66 »

Why do the Allied, particularly the UK, countries periodically loose a point of National Morale when they suffer
no casualties? Or worse when the only losses they do suffer is in battles they win.

Conversely on good allied turns when 2 German ships/subs are sunk Germany may loose a point of NM, but
sure as sunrise the next day they'll gain it back in a turn or three.

What's frustrating about submarines is the ability to be "surprised" and decimated when they are submerged. I had a UK Carrier that I knew was in a port in Cyprus. I move my submerged Italian sub up to attack it in port. When contact was made, the sub was "surprised" and took 3 hits and then of course was unable to attack. I can see possibly being surprised by Destroyers with greater ASW, but a ship in port????

But that works both ways. Sometimes the ship you run into is surprised (including Destroyers) and they get hammered by the sub.

All these towns with NM value attached to them reduce the NM per turn if you lose them to the opposition.

Raiding also causes NM losses, could that be a factor at play here?

Nope. I suspect KZ has the answer.

Doesn't make it any less annoying because it is so hard for the UK to get NM back with the typical losses, and crushing when forced to move the government to Canada (not to mention the pathetic MPP situation).
