AI setting up invalid Air Directives

Post by jedao »

I've been wondering why the AI is constantly setting up invalid ADs. For instance, the attached image is from the Full Campaign, Turn 1. (without additional Air HQs).

It also likes to set up day missions when only NF are available. And I was simply using the default Air Directive as suggested and let the AI choose the missions.

Am I overlooking something or is this normal?

I can't answer the Why question, but I can tell you that's why I set up all my AD's manually.
