How to Change Unit Deployment in Scenario Editor

Post by 76mm »

In the Scenario Editor, I can see how to change a unit's deployment in the Unit Report. But I can only choose between Mobile, Tactical Reserve, and Local Reserve--and not Defending, Entrenched, Fortified, or any of the other deployments.

While the manual describes certain limitations on changing deployments (eg, from Mobile, TR, and LR only to Defending), but it wouldn't seem to make sense to enforce these limits in the editor, and moreover I can't even use Defending, which it seems I should be able to.

While it wouldn't surprise me if I'm missing something obvious, I sure can't figure out what it is!

I'm not near TOAW, but select a unit on the map and hit 'D' to switch between D, E and F, if I remember correctly.

You nailed it, thanks. Amazing memory...

While we're at it, any idea how to put units into other deployments, such as Retreated, Routed, or Reorganizing? I tried the 'R' key--and I think every other key--but no luck. Any suggestions?
