Allied Player BTS Lite Scenario 60

Post by joliverlay »

Getting my ..... kicked and don't want to wait until I finish to try to learn from my mistakes. Might lose on points on 1/1/43 (two game months), but will play on until the end, and it takes a long time so I'm looking to start another game now before that game ends.

Want to play as Allied BTS Lite scenario 60 with beta patch. First turns take a long time, after than I'm averaging more than one turn a day. In fact in my painful ..... kicking we have gotten as many as 9 turns done some days, 3 per day often.

Open to reasonable house rules.

Thanks.

Would I have to do an separate install for BTS light? Its been a long long time since I have installed any mods...so I'd be a bit nervous with that.
Carrierbane. I lose more flattops in a week then most players do in a year.

Yes. BTSL uses the extended map. It is a bit of trouble to install but the map is better than stock IMO.

I'd kinda like to try some MODs but I'm REALLY nervous on how to install a separate map without messing up the PBEM I have going presently on the vanilla map.

I copied all my files into another folder (or you can install anew in a different directory or drive). I have three installations on my computer now. It can be confusing and a pain in the ..... But is can be done.

If I don't get any takers I'll consider a regular map game, but unless the mod gives a little help to the Japanese player I fear they will get discouraged and quit mid game.

The main thing is I want to play allied. I'm to old to sort out all the issues with Japanese production. Its to much like "work".

It is just a matter of organization. I have 11 different installs of the game. On my desktop I have a single folder called WitP AE
Inside that folder is a set of folders, one for each of the games I am currently interested/playing. Inside each folder are all the
shortcuts needed for each game, two for the game( one full screen and one windowed), one for Tracker, one for Combat Reporter,
and one for Intel Monkey. I just reinstalled Windows Saturday and it took me about 1 hour to redo all of my WitP AE shortcuts.
Each game can have its own exe version, map and scenario files and no conflict occurs.

India is very tough. I am trying to take it in my current match vs Anachro.

All my Mods have increased/changed Garrison Requirements so make sure you are aware of them.

Still Looking for A Japanese Fanboy. This scenario has lots of extra goodies for you. I won't get a rematch against my current opponent for a year or so when we are done, so I'm highly motivated to see if I've learned anything by playing another game. Since I'm not getting takers I'm open to playing Allied in one of the other scenarios, but my experience has been that the less-modded base games swing to the Allied relatively soon and my Japanese opponents have had a tendency to quite before I get to counter attack. Any die hard Japanese Fan Boys looking for a game?
