Russian translation of manual

Post by andy77 »

I am engaged in translation of the Manual of the game into Russian. It's a shame that the nation, the glorious military history of which is devoted to many scenarios in the game, has no translation into its own language !
In the future I plan to translate the game into Russian. Is it possible technically? If there is anyone willing to help, write to me.

The only way a manual can be translated is if someone who is fluent in both the manual's original language and the language it is to be translated into is available to provide the service. If no one steps forward then it will not get done. It's nice that you've decided to do this.

To translate the game, you must open the gametext.xml file with a text editor (for example notepad++), and then traslate line by line the text inside v=" "/>

This is a hard work, there is more than 7000 lines.

By the way, there is no German or French translation of the Manual yet. [:)]
